AUKEY Tyre Pressure Monitoring System with Low Pressure Warning System
The correct tyre pressure is essential for a car, for both safety and economy reasons; which is why it should be an important part of our car maintenance routine and the tyre pressure should be checked at least monthly. But, realistically how often do people actually check their tyre pressure; most people I know maybe check it once a year! This is why this little gem from Aukey is such a wonderful idea. This AUKEY TPMS Tyre Pressure Monitoring System will constantly monitor your tyre pressure for you and warn you if it drops below a certain level with its built-in low pressure warning system.
All you need to do is replace the dust caps on your 4 tyres with the ones in the kit, then plug the receiver into your lighter socket and hey presto, you’re done! The little technical bits in the special dust caps talk to the receiver via Bluetooth and constantly monitor your tyre pressure for you, then the screen shows you the tyre pressure for each tyre. Obviously different pressure is recommended for different cars, so you just enter the minimum and maximum pressure suggested for your car into the receiver and if the pressure goes past your chosen pressures, the alarm goes off. Within seconds of me plugging my receiver in, the pressure for all 4 tyres was displayed on the screen. Each cap's marked with the wheel is should go on and Aukey kindly provide a nifty little spanner and tightener for you to use when fitting them. There’s even a spare USB slot in the top of the receiver; so if like me you currently plug a USB adapter in your cigarette lighter, you can still use your USB powered device.
I’d most definitely recommend this; not only does the car use more petrol when the tyre pressure is low, it also can seriously affect your stopping distance… so this kit might just save you much more than money in the long run. They work well, are super easy to fit and come with Aukey’s 2yr warranty; to me, fitting these to your car is a win win situation.

AUKEY Portable Car Jump Starter and Powerbank 12000mah
As with all Aukey things a lot of thought has gone into the design of this car booster starter. It comes in a very nice looking hard case that’s got a divider between top and bottom; in the top section is a netted pocket which houses the mains adapter, cigarette adapter, USB / micro USB cable and the jump leads and in the bottom section is the booster, which is encased in foam.
The booster has two USB slots on the side, which can be used to charge your mobile phone, MP3 player or anything that you can charge by USB; either using the cable provided or your items own cable if the fitting isn’t a micro USB sized fitting on it. On the side there’s also a charging indicator with LED lights to show how much charge is in the booster, together with a rubber cap which lifts up to reveal the socket that you plug the jump lead cables into. The booster has ridged rubber on the top and bottom, making it very easy to hold even in wet weather and will also stop it sliding about in the engine bay when you use it; the edges are a bright orange gloss plastic, making it easy to spot in your boot. On the top is the power button, which also turns the LED torch on and lets you choose between 2 flashing speeds or static and the torch is super bright.
The booster can easily be charged at home using the mains adapter or from the car when the engine is running with the cigarette adapter. I’ve had car starters in the past that you needed to be an iron man just to lift, but this one is just 7” long, 3” wide and an inch thick; it would easily fit in most glove box. And yet something this small is powerful enough to jump-start an engine of up to 4 litre car and will be able to start it numerous times on a single charge. I’d definitely recommend this, as something to keep in your car ‘just in case’… whether it’s charging your phone or sat nav or starting the car on a cold morning or because you forgot to turn your lights off when you get to work, it’s definitely worth investing in. Plus, as with All Aukey products this comes with a 2 year guarantee

AUKEY Dashcam Full HD, 170° Wide Angle Lens, Night Vision & 2" screen
I’ve always fancied a dash cam, but have always thought that they’d either be really expensive or ones I could afford would be poor quality. I’m very pleased to say that this dash cam has proved me wrong on both accounts; not only is it an affordable price, but the quality is exceptionally good too.
The camera just requires a class10 micro SD card to work, which isn’t included, but I got one from Amazon for less than £5. Everything else you need comes with the dash cam; you get a suction based holder to put on the window, in addition to an 3M pads so you can permanently stick it somewhere, a 3 meter long USB cable so it’s long enough for you to hide and 3 cable clips to attach it, as well as a double USB lighter adapter, meaning not only can you plug the dashcam in, you also have an empty socket to charge up something else at the same time.
The dashcam is really so simple to use; once it is turned on and plugged into the USB adapter, it automatically comes on and starts recording, it will continue recording until it’s either manually turned off or unplugged. It uses a Sony Exmor Sensor which gives an extended wide angle lens of 170, meaning it’ll also cover the parked cars and pavements as well, instead of just the immediate road in front of you. Which is handy as any incidents with parked cars or pedestrians stepping off the pavements would also be captured in full 1080P HD. I’ve recorded some sample footage which can be seen on Youtube in the link below, one was taken late afternoon just before dusk and the other one was taken at night; as you can see the clarity and quality is brilliant on both clips.
Not only is the quality of the film excellent, the build quality and features are excellent too. The camera automatically records on a loop, recording 3, 5 or 10 minute clips and then goes over previously recorded footage if the memory card is full; but there’s an emergency button on the front and if you press it, it’ll automatically saved the footage immediately prior to the button being pressed. If you don’t want the camera on continuous recording mode, the G-sensor will automatically react to any sudden breaking, swerves or impact and start recording or you can use the camera on time lapse mode. This dashcam is great, I’d happily recommend it and of course it comes with Aukey’s 24 month warranty.

AUKEY Bluetooth FM transmitter with LED Display and Built-in Mic
I love this FM Bluetooth transmitter! My car stereo has an aux socket, but for some unknown reason I can’t use my phone with it and have had to use an MP3 player to listen to my music in the car; this means I need to ensure my MP3 player is always charged and have to remember to take it to the car. Having this FM transmitter means I can listen to my music on my phone through the car stereo and as I always have my phone with and it’s always charged, it makes life a lot simpler.
If this Bluetooth transmitter just played my music, it would be great; but what makes it even better is that it has a built in mic and can be used for phone calls too. The transmitter comes with a dual USB adapter to plug into your lighter socket, simply plug the USB cable attached to the transmitter into the adapter and it automatically turns on. At the other end of the cable, is the transmitter itself with a backlit LCD display showing the radio frequency, all you need to do it tune your car stereo to the same frequency, then pair your device with the music with the transmitter and your music will be played through the car speakers. The transmitter has a sticky back, so you can place it wherever you want on your car dashboard or centre consul. You can accept calls on your paired phone with the transmitter, just by pressing the rim of the transmitter; you can also skip and select tracks using the transmitter too. As it comes with a dual USB adapter, it means you have a spare port to charge your phone or plug in your webcam.
I was really pleased with the performance of this Bluetooth transmitter, it paired very easily with my phone and stayed connected. The sound quality when using it for phone calls was great, both with me hearing the person calling and for them hearing me. I’d happily recommend this, I use it every day in my car and it works really well; as with all Aukey products, this transmitter comes with a 2 year warranty.

AUKEY Emergency Hammer Portable Car Jump Starter & Power Pack
This is such a brilliant set for any and every driver to have in their car. The glass breaking hammer is something that is always advised to keep in the car and can actually be a life-saver. The fact that Aukey have very cleverly combined this with a car booster is genius! In addition to that, you also get a USB charging pack and a bright LED torch… I’d say this is a must have for all drivers.
There is a very nice looking hard case to keep everything in, with netted pockets to separate things; in the case you get the booster pack, USB cable, cigarette lighter adapter, the jump leads attachment and the mains adapter. The booster itself has a rubberised finish to it, which makes it easier to hold and handle and can either be charged up from the mains or from the cigarette plug from a running engine. There are 4 little LED lights near the light on button to easily show how much charge there is remaining. All the holes on slots are neatly hidden under a black rubber cap on the rear of the ‘hammer’ and there’s also a similar cap on the front of the hammer, which you’d obviously remove if you need to use it.
If you’re in the car and you’re phone’s flat (or in my case my camera, whilst taking photos of the hammer), just plug in the USB / micro USB cable into the slot on the rear of the hammer to charge your phone. To start your car if the battery is flat, ensure your ‘hammer’ is charged and just connect the jump leads cable into the reverse of the ‘hammer’ and attach the jumps leads to the relevant battery terminal; leave it connected for a few minutes and then start the car as normal. Gone are the days where you needed to be a weightlifter to pick up a car booster, this one can easily be carried about in one hand. There’s even a built in LED torch, you pretty much have everything you may need in the one handy product. I’d definitely recommend this booster; I’ve given mine to my Mum and she’s got the ‘hammer’ in her side door panel, so it’s within arm’s reach and the rest of it is neatly packed away in the case, which she keeps in her boot.
