I got these for my Persian cat, as I have to trim her rear end on a regular basis and have always used scissors, understandably she doesn’t like me doing things at that end and I thought these would be a safer and quicker option. The clippers arrived with some charge in already, but I put them on charge anyway and within a couple of hours they were fully charged. From fully charged you have 90mins cordless use from the clippers; but if you need to use them for longer, you can use them plugged in & it has a 2.5m cable.

The instruction booklet was brilliant, thoroughly covering everything in relation to the clipper, as well as general advice on clipping your pet. I’d say these make a similar level of noise as a normal electric razor; so not overly loud, but not whisper quiet either. I turned them on with my cat sat next to me and although she wasn’t sure about the noise, she didn’t run off. I did this a few times over a couple of days, to get her used to the noise, before I actually used them on her. They work really well, cutting her fur really easily and the fact they are cordless made the job much easier – I even trimmed her bib under her chin. I used one of the combs, which simply click on, just to make sure I didn’t nick her. The clippers certainly made a nice job of it and she looks much nicer than when I use scissors; her bib has a nice neat finish, much better than the chopped effect I unfortunately gave her when I used scissors.

My opinion expressed is a direct reflection of my personal experience with the Trèsutopia FluffyX Grooming Clippers and I think they’re great. They work well, are easy to use & being cordless makes the job much easier; I’d happily recommend them.

I received Pet Buddies Hubulk PB5560 Dog & cat Grooming Brush today and was very eager to try it out. I have a long haired Persian cat so no matter how hard I try my furniture and clothes are always covered in cat hair, which constantly needs removing.

I have a black footstool in my dining room that Rosie (my cat) uses a lot, so I thought that would be perfect to try it on. I was truly amazed at how quickly the brush removed all her fur from the stool and it didn’t spread it about at all, it rolled it up as it took it off; unlike the normal velcro style flat clothes brushes, that often tend to put the fur back on the item in a different place.

The brush stated it was multi use, so I thought I’d try dealing with the cat fur at source and use it on Rosie. She LOVED it and would give it 50/10 if she could, she would have happily sat there all day while I brushed her with it. But more importantly it successfully removed quite a bit of fur from her.

It does the job brilliantly and will certainly be making my life much easier, I'd highly recommend it and consider it to be value for money.

The clippers were simply packaged with a cardboard back and clear moulded plastic front, which sensibly wasn’t one of the ones you have to cut open, so it can be used for storage in the future.

The initial impression of the clippers was that they were nice looking with little touches like the paw print and a bright baby blue colour. The grips were a comfortable width to hold with the added advantage of the outer part of the grips being non-slip rubber. There’s a little ratchet switch on the handle, which locks them closed. At the bottom of one of the handles there’s a little black bit of plastic protruding slightly – this pulls out and is a metal nail file; which I thought was a very thoughtful and useful touch.

I haven’t got a dog, but I trim my cat’s nail regularly (much to her disgust) and one the ones I am currently using, I was always worried about cutting her quick. These clippers probably aren’t ideal for cats, as they are a bit too thick to get under the claw, but I had a try on my cat’s claws. I was really impressed with them, not only are they very sharp and need very little pressure to cut; they also have the cutting edge recessed back and the guard to stop you accidently cutting the quick. I will give them another try on my cat, but I think I will probably end up donating to them to either my local PDSA or dog rescue centre, as I think the quality is definitely good enough for them to use and as they look substantial, I expect they’ll easily cope with a lot of usage. Another thing that I thought was good, was the instruction video on their website showing you about cutting dogs nails, which is very useful if you’ve not done it before.

My opinion expressed is a direct reflection of my personal experience with the MaxiPaw nail clippers and I can honestly say they are brilliant. They are well made, easy to use and at the price they’re sold for on Amazon, an absolute bargain! I can highly recommend them and am desperately hoping they’ll soon make a smaller pair suitable for cats & maybe even rabbits, etc.

This is such a brilliant product, so well made and very well thought out. The pen comes in a green zip up nylon canvas bag (approx. 68cm x 38cm), with nylon webbing handles on each side. The zip runs along the top of the bag making it very easy to get the pen out. The pen easily lifts out and has a wide elasticated band round it to keep it folded up, although I must admit I forgot about this band when I put it back in the case, so it’s not essential to use it.

The pen easily opens out, almost like a pop-up tent, but not quite. When open it’s an octagonal shape 85cm across and 58cm high; the description on Amazon states there are 4 metal bars in the pen but when it’s up it’s very firm and rigid, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the was a metal bar on each joint; having said that though, it’s very light-weight and portable both in and out of the bag. If you wanted to use it outside, there are places to attach tent pegs etc to fix it to the ground, although I really can’t see it blowing away; but if you wanted to move it around the garden to either chase or avoid the shade, it's light enough that it can easily be moved.

6 of the 8 panels are made with canvas nylon panels top and bottom with a large mesh panel in the middle, enabling you to see in and your pet to see out; the other 2 panels are mainly mesh, which zip all the way round so you can use them as ‘doors’. All the edges and joins on the pen are taped and stitched; it is definitely a good quality product. There are fold over pockets and mesh bags built in to the outside of the pen for storage. The pen comes with a nylon canvas floor which zips on to the bottom of it, the fact it’s removable is brilliant as it means you can clean up any ‘accidents’; there’s also a mesh top which again zips on if you want to stop anything getting in or out of the pen. I’m giving the pen to my local hedgehog rescue centre who will use it for injured hedgehogs that need exercising, but I think you could use it for pretty much any small pet like rabbits, puppies kittens etc…

My opinion expressed is a direct reflection of my personal experience with the Amzdeal Fabric Pet Play Pen Folding and I think it’s a brilliant product. It’s strong, well made, portable and very well designed, I’d definitely be happy to recommend this to anyone.

The initial impression of the lead is that it was designed well; it was nice looking and felt sturdy. The main body of the lead is matt red plastic and the handle part is black with red paw prints on it; the handle is ergonomically shaped and rubberised, to making holding it easier. Although the lead feels very sturdy, it’s not overly weighty and is designed to be very well balanced when you hold it. Immediately in front of where you thumb naturally sits is the lock /unlock button, to lock it you simply press the button in and it locks instantly, it can be reached easily with your thumb without having to loosen your grip on the lead at all. To unlock the lead, simply pull the level at the front of the locking button towards you. At the other end of the lead there’s a release clip, similar to the ones found on most leads.

I gave the lead to my Mum to try as she has a 25kg Staffordshire bull terrier who can be prone to pulling and she was very impressed with it; even with him pulling and straining on the lead, the lock stayed in place. The lead extends to 8m/26ft which a good distance and when fully retracted the initial webbing part of the lead is 60cm/24” long, including the end clip.

My opinion expressed is a direct reflection of my personal experience with this Trèsutopia Retractable Dog Lead and with my examination of it, combined with my Mum’s feedback from using it, I things it’s great. It’s well made, strong, comfortable to hold and comparing it to other leads available, it’s excellent value; so I’m very happy to recommend it.
