The fact the packaging this Albrillo MoodLight 500 Lumens LED Folding Paper light came in was so simple, it gave no indication how absolutely wonderful the contents are. As soon as you remove the light from the box and take it out the wrapper, the initial reaction is WOW! Because what you’re holding in your hand, is a really beautiful wooden book with some lovely detailing on the spine of the book, which allows the book to be opened; then when you open the book up, the lights which are set somewhere within the pages of the book, automatically come on… to say it’s beautiful's an understatement. The pages are made from what looks like a slightly waxy parchment recycled paper, each of the 35 ‘pages’ are made from two pages joined together to give a pillow effect. I don’t realistically think it’d be enough light to read by properly, but it looks so beautiful I can live with that.
There are no batteries to insert, just a tiny hidden slot to plug the USB cable in to recharge it. Because it’s rechargeable, you don’t have to worry about having a nearby socket and you have no wires to worry about (except when charging it). It makes a beautiful atmospheric light or would be ideal for a child’s night light; you get 8 hours of light from a full charge. The outside edges of the wooden book cover are magnetic, so you can open it all the way and the cover snaps together giving you a ball shape.
This light’s extremely unusual, I’ve never seen anything like it before; it’s so beautiful. This light definitely has the WOW factor, I don’t think anyone could fail to be impressed by it; it’s one of those things that if you have in your house everyone will comment on and admire. It would make the most beautiful present for someone and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, I absolutely LOVE it!!!

I fell in love with the Amzdeal Star Curtain Lights when I first saw it online, but now they're up they’re even nicer in reality. The lights comprise of a clear horizontal wire, which has strings of clear wire hanging from it. 6 of the wires are 84cm long with a clear plastic outline of a star (19cm across) at the bottom, this is light by warm white LED bulbs; there’s also 5 LED bulbs down the length of the wire. The 6 alternate hanging wires are 54cm long with a clear plastic faceted star (9cm across) at the bottom, which is lit by LEDs and there are 3 LED lights on the hanging wire. The length of horizontal wire with the hanging lights is about 2m and I’d estimate there’s about 3m between the last light and the plug, which is a UK plug.
Every component of the lights looks well-made and the lights certainly have a weight to them; although I have them draped over my plastic curtain rail and the weight isn’t so heavy that it pulls them down. The lights have a mode selector placed near the plug, which gives you 8 different options; 2 fading modes, a static mode and 5 flashing modes. They’re also very bright; they lit my dining room up the same as my ceiling light, which has a 60w light and coloured glass lamp shade.
I absolutely LOVE this light curtain and I leave them up at the window permanently. They look gorgeous up and are so unusual, they might not be the cheapest lights about, but I think they’re good value and worth every penny. I wholeheartedly would recommend them to anyone, they’re amazing!

This Sunix Aquarius LED Vase lamp is really gorgeous; it’s such a great concept and it’s been well thought out and beautifully executed. The main body of the lamp is made from a frosted opaque plastic, the bottom ¼ is white plastic and the top of the lamp has a brushed white metal band. In the bottom section there’s the very responsive touch on/off/mode button; the lamp has 3 light settings – 2 levels of brightness and one which gives a similar light as a flickering candle. The lamp gives out a lovely warm white light, realistically it’s probably not bright enough to sit and read by, but it’s a lovely atmospheric warm light.
The hidden beauty of this lamp, it that it’s waterproof! So not only can you have it in the bathroom with the steam, but you can actually use it as a vase… The middle of the lamp is hollow and waterproof, so you can put water and fresh flowers in it and still use it as a lamp and the same time; the lighting on the flowers looks really lovely. Another great thing about it is that it’s cordless and rechargeable by the included USB cable, so you don’t have to worry about needing a plug socket next to it.
I think this light is lovely and it’s a great idea that it also doubles as a vase, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it and at its current price of £12.99, I think it’s a bargain!

This Pat Control Night Light is fascinating, the charging concept intrigued me when I read about it and the reality is just as amazing. It's made from a smooth solid plastic and is approx 12cm in diameter & 11cm high. You connect the blue charging base to USB plug or computer via the cable provided and then just sit the light on the base. There is no connection that actually goes into the light, the light is totally sealed, there is only a small indentation in the bottom of the lamp and a slightly small raise bump on the base; but somehow the light charges.
It has 3 lighting options, 2 levels of brightness and a flickering candle mode; to alternate between the different styles of light, you simply tap the light and each time you tap it the light changes and on the 4th tap it turns off. This lamp requires you to be a bit heavier handed, than some touch lights, but I’m presuming this is because the plastic of the lamp’s quite thick and the fact that it is waterproof and shockproof. It’s definitely not a light to read by, it’s a lovely atmospheric light and the fact it is cordless makes it so versatile. You can charge it up and then have it beside the bath for a relaxing glow, without the worry of electrics & water; it’s so waterproof, you can actually float in the bath or even an outside hot tub at night. There’s no limit as to how far from the base you can take it once it’s charged, so you can take it into the garden, on the beach, beside your child’s bed – pretty much anywhere.
I love this light and I’m still enthralled by the charging aspect of it; for the versatility and quality, I think it is extremely good value and I’d happily recommend it.

This bulb is brilliant and so much better than my other Bluetooth light bulb, as it’s not totally reliant on a Bluetooth enabled device. The bulb has a E27 fitting, but if like me, your lights have B22 fittings, you can get adapters from Amazon for about £2 which work well.
The remote’s very intuitive and neat and it means you don’t need a Bluetooth enabled device to use the colour options with this bulb. At the top there are 3 power buttons; so the speaker & the light can be used independently of each other; you can have music from the speaker and no light on, or the light on without the speaker, or you can have them on together. You can have the light a variety of colours and can chose to have it pulsing to the music or static.
The speaker paired easily with my phone and my MP3 player; which was great as I wasn’t able to use my other bulb with my MP3, as it needed an app downloaded. There’s buttons on the remote to change the volume up & down and change the tracks. The music being played by the bulb is good quality and goes up fairly loud. The Bluetooth part of it will work up to about 30ft from the device: I’ve put my bulb in the bathroom, so I can have atmospheric colours and listen to music without worrying about my phone getting damp.
All in all, this is a brilliant little device; it does everything it’s supposed to and more importantly it does them well; I’d happily recommend this bulb.

This AUKEY Table Lamp is super cute! I love the shape of it; it’s got a nice small footprint at just over 12cm across and 17cm high, so it won’t use up much space and with the white gloss base and the opaque frosted plastic top, it certainly looks very stylish. But for a small lamp it’s certainly packed with lots of features. The first great thing is that it’s rechargeable, so you can have it anywhere without having to worry about being near a power point and it will last for 8 hours at full brightness. It’s so portable there’s even a retractable strap underneath the lamp so you can hang it up, so whether you need light in the shed or a tent anywhere, you can take this light with you to use. It recharges by USB cable, so can be charged by USB adapter plug or to add to its portability, a USB power pack.
Another great thing is that just by tapping the little button on the base you can adjust the brightness and at full brightness, it’s more than enough light to be able to easily read by. But not only that, you can also change it to a multitude of different colours, just by moving your finger across the touch sensor or you can have it so that it gently changes between all the different colours automatically.
This lamp is so versatile, whether you want it for a child’s room as a soothing night light or to read in bed at night or to take out, you’ll find endless ways you can use this lamp; I’d happily recommend it to anyone.

This light’s lovely, it definitely looks and feels like a high quality product; the design is very sleek, with clean lines and it has a good weight to it. This cylindrical shaped lamp is approx. 9cm across and 23cm high, the bottom 6cm is brushed metal and although the main body looks like glass, it’s actually made from ABS (a type of polymer/plastic); I guess it's safer and stronger than glass.
The entire metal part of the lamp activates the touch feature, which is brilliant if you want it beside your bed to turn on when you wake up in the dark… no fumbling about trying to find a switch, just touch anywhere on the metal part and the lamp comes on! There are 3 levels of brightness for the ‘white’ light; these are chosen by simply tapping the lamp, you’d comfortably be able to read with the brightest level. The tap sensor is really responsive and only needs the lightest touch. To change to the coloured light option just touch the lamp for 3 seconds and it changes to colour mode and will slowly morph through all the colours and shades; if you see a colour you want it to stay on, just tap the lamp once and it stays on that colour. This lamp’s mains operated, however it’s got long lead (153cm)
This is a gorgeous good quality lamp; you have a good reading light, combined with a gentle ambient coloured lighting in the same stylish lamp. Like all Aukey products, this comes with a 2year warranty and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this lamp.
