I love aroma diffusers and have them throughout my flat; I’d previously bought a 500ml one to have in the bedroom, as it would run throughout the night, not fully realising how big it would be. So I opted for a smaller one that I could have beside my bed and would last part of the night. This diffuser has a base of 10cm, which tapers up to 6cm at the top and is 14cm tall, so a perfect size for me to have on the bedside table.

The diffuser was packaged in a plain brown box which contained the diffuser, a filling cup, the power cable and a set of instructions. This is a great diffuser with so many good options. You can use it with the diffuser working and the light either on or off, but you can also just use it as a light (albeit not bright enough to read by, but great for atmospheric light or a soothing night light for children).

When you first turn the humidifier on it automatically set to go off after 3 hours, press it again and it will continue until the water runs out, approx. 4hrs; as there’s a safety feature, you never have to worry about it continuing without water. Also when it turns on, the light automatically gently fades in and out of the 7 colours, if you want a specific colour then press the light button when it gets to that colour or keep pressing it until you find a colour you want; if you hold the light button in for a few seconds if turns the light off. I loved this option, as not all humidifiers have it and although I wanted the mist on at night, I wouldn’t be able to sleep with the light on.

I filled the tank up to the level, added a few drops of Olbas oil and lavender oil, replaced the lid and turned it on. The humidifier gives out a good constant stream of mist and a good level of aroma, without making the area it was sat on at all damp (this is one of my pet hates with diffusers). I briefly work up after a few hours and it was still going strong, the thing itself is pretty much silent, the only thing you can hear is a faint bubbling of water which I actually find relaxing. I’m pleased to say that I woke up not feeling at all stuffy and had a good sleep, which is what I was hoping for; obviously I can’t guarantee it was 100% thanks to the diffuser, but I’ve certainly been waking up with a clearer head since I started using it at night.
